In a matter of a few weeks your application will be up and running under a Windows client. It will, as a result, closely resemble your old application and that means lots of information crammed into your screen forms. Forms also retain the 25-rows by 80-columns characteristic. This is normal; your forms layouts reflect the lack of graphical widgets available in I4GL. With a few minor modifications widgets can be added to embellish the look and feel, but the structural field layout will be the same.

Migration projects of this nature are typically measured in man days.
